i replace clutch cable, clutch lever, and clutch lever cover. Total cost was a little shy of $50.
to replace all that stuff,
1. get your tank up and sprocket cover off. with the tank up, you can get easier access when you are taking the old cable out and new one in.
2. undo the adjuster at the the clutch lever. (mine is wearing out. i need to get a new set.) undo the bolt holding the lever.
3. undo the nuts at circle 5, inside the sprocket cover.
4. with a small-head long-stem flat head screw driver, undo the little tab that holds the clutch cable.
5. back at the handle bar. line up the slit of the adjustment nut. unhook the cable from the lever and off through the slit.
6. to install, just reverse the order. and adjust it according to the manual (see the picture from step #3).
