fun with camry (NOT!)

so here was the symptoms. i posted this on toyota nation forum.

"the other day, left turn signal started to blink fast. that's typically means that one of the turn signal is out. sure enough, the front was out.

so today, i went out and got 1157A bulbs and put one in. it now blinks, but still fast. strange... since the package came with two bulbs, i put the other one in. still the same.

to be more precise
1. when the headlights are off, the left blinks about 1.5 x as fast as the right turn signal.
2. when the headlights are on, the left blinks about 2x as fast as the right turn signal.
3. with the headlights on or off, the left blinker 1/2 the brightness of the right turn signal.

i even sprayed all the connection with electric connection/contact cleaner and scratched the contact points with flathead screw driver."

then one day later, the light bulb goes out again.

one guy suggested to replace the relay, and that did it. =)

then yesterday, my wife breaks the interior door handle.

i had to take the door skin off from the front door and the back door. i got the handle out of the back door and put it in front. i just bought an assembly off ebay for $20.00 (shipping included). it should be here sometime this week. sigh.
