the procedure was much simpler than i expected. one thing i learned was that to put the bike on the stand. don't do it on the side stand. a bit of primary fluid leaded.
the trickiest was the adjust the cable at the end. when i did it first by following the manual, it felt like the clutch wasn't disengaging enough. BUT it turned out, i just needed to follow the manual as it stated "Pull clutch cable ferrule away from
clutch lever bracket to check free play. Turn cable adjuster as necessary to obtain 1/16-1/8 in. (1.6-3.2 mm)free play between end of cable ferrule and clutch lever
bracket".
