Ninja 250 Gas Mileage

After 4 days of commuting, 254 miles, I finally got to fill up the tank.  It took 4 gallons.  That means 63.5 miles to a gallon.  Most of the time, it's running around 7-9,000 rpm on the highway.  So I guess this is good enough.  Perhaps I will change the rear sprocket to either 43 or 41 tooth.

As is, one of the biggest difference between my Sportster and Ninja is that I need to refuel Sportster every two commutes.  It typically takes between 2-3 gallons of 93 octane.  For Ninja, I don't have to refuel until the end of the 4th commute and it takes 87 octane.  The price of GAS is going up due to the unrest of the Middle East.  Riding Ninja began to make even more sense.

Happy riding!
