I think I have the recipe for the least stalling for my F650CS Scarver - Iridium spark plug + 93 octane gas. But this iridium plug is making the mpg to suffer. I'm down to around 60mpg. Another trick is to get your bike warmed up before riding.
Unlike UJM (Universal Japanese Motorcycles) that I grew up with, these fancy (BMW, Harley, etc) bikes are a lot more "sensitive".
