After finishing the pannier project, I was going to go for a test ride. Hit the starter button.... NOTHING!
Battery has more than 12v. I hear the fuel pump come on. All the lights are nice and bright.
SO.... I narrowed it down to, perhaps, three things, starter, starter relay, or the starter button.
What's the easiest to work on? It's the starter button. So I started to take it a part.
Sprayed with a electrical contact cleaner and scrubbed the button surface with a flat head screw driver.
Then turn the ignition on and hit the button.
YAY, she runs again! Thank goodness, it was ONLY a dirty contact.
