36,410 Miles
My TKC80 was at the end of its life. I put it on the rear at 32,300 miles - https://xamper.blogspot.com/2018/02/new-tires-for-r1150gs.html . That means, I only got 4,000 miles out of an EXPENSIVE TKC80. In my book, this is not acceptable. The front, Shinko 804, still got some life left.
So I decided to put Shinko 805 on the rear. Probably, this will last until my current front tire finishes.
I also put an 805 on DRZ 400 rear a while ago and it rode really well on the dirt and sand. I was very impressed. I even rode in the pouring rain on the paved surface. It surprisingly performed well.
I'm hoping this rear will last about 6-7,000 miles. We will see.
