Tenere Rear Wheel Tubeless Conversion

I go for a nice afternoon ride on Feb. 25...

Then the rear wheel gets a flat 15 miles from home....

AAA to the rescue...

This helped me to decide to convert the rear to tubeless. I have seen many posts on the internet forums converting Tenere 700 wheels. I've read them and followed the most common methods.

 First I ordered 3M 4412 tape ($49.00) and 5200 sealant ($26.00).

Clean the wheel as best as I can with alcohol and brake cleaner - paying close attention to around the nipples as sealer will be used to fill the holes.

applied the sealer...

apply the tape...
put a new Shinko 805 Tubeless tire...

Then I'm done.

It is still holding the air. I am calling this a success.
