4Runner plugs, throttle body, and coolant (anti-freeze)

158,000 miles

today, i bought the world most expensive (well, it seems like) anti-freeze (coolant) from a local toyota dealership. one gallon of this red stuff was $30! YIKES!!!!! no wonder people call them stealership. as i was checking out, i saw probably 30 people waiting for their car to get done in the waiting room. wow! this dealership is doing a GREAT business. good for them in the middle of bad economy.

i also stopped at an auto parts store and picked up some new spark plugs, 5/8" plug socket, 1/4 fuel line, a tube of anti-seize, B12 chem. throttle body cleaner, etc. so over all, i ended up spending about $70 on parts including the anti-freeze.

all of this 30,000 mile maintenance went smoothly in my garage. it took a few hours, but it was a nice warm afternoon (75F/25C), so nothing to complain. the following page was VERY helpful in doing this maintenance.

one more step closer to making a big trip!
