i have compared tires and prices online with sears, wal-mart, ntb, and discount tires. and this time, the winner was - Discount Tires. the day i made the appointment, it was the last day of 'cyber monday discount'. i got $50.00 off. kool.
i went to the shop this afternoon at appointment time. they only had three tires that i requested. so they decided to give me a set of better tires ($36 more per tire) and honored the original price. they even decided to honor the warranty miles as well. (the original tire had a better warranty miles.)
i am happy with my $144 savings! i am also happy with how quickly they did the work. from the time i walked into the showroom until i get the key back, it only took 30 min. i was VERY impressed.
