Installing Dyna S Ignition - Part 2

Here is my solution to my previous problem. One was my fault. The other is a bad instruction.

1. I did not see this pin that sticks out from the shaft that I am supposed to knock it off. You see the little nipple in the circle.






When you knock it off with a flathead screwdriver and a hammer, here is the result.



2. There is a spacer at the bottom of the advancer. I had to get it out. I had to take the arms off to get the spacer off the shaft.

Now it is rotating with the 10mm nut tightened. Tomorrow, I will try to set the static timing.
