When I hit the start button, the starter hesitates... for a second. It use to be just half a second. But now more like 1.5 - 2 seconds. I thought it might be soon that the starter won't crank at all. So I made a little trip to the nearest dealer (15 miles).
The removal and installation was pretty straight forward. Typically you would remove the negative then positive terminal. But for this model, take the main fuse out, take the positive out, get the battery out, then the negative terminal.
I had a small mishap when tightening the negative terminal bolt. I accidentally touched the positive terminal with the wrench. (The battery came fully charged.) I ended up burning my hand.
