Ninja fuel mileage (mpg) has been decent, but not great. The configuration is
- 15T sprocket up front (14T stock)
- 45T sprocket in the rear (45T stock)
- commuting is 31 mile one way, 62 miles round trip a day.
- within this one way commute, 5 miles is a city riding.
- within this one way commute, 26 miles is a hwy riding averaging 7-9,000 rpm.
- within the highway commute, 15 miles of it is on HOV lane.
- using 87 octane gas.
In the near future, the rear sprocket will be reduced to 41T to bring down the rpm while on highway.
