40F is cold around here. This morning I wore fleece pull-over on top of my dress shirt. They my typical mesh riding jacket with nylon liner and my leather jacket over it. My top was nice and comfy (felt a bit bulky, like a Michelin man.), but wearing just a pair of jeans was a bit cold on my bottom half. I also had a scarf around my neck and a bandana covering lower 1/2 of my face.
Gloves? My typical cold weather glove, but now I have the heated grips and hands are nice and warm.
With my old age, I am getting wimpy. I am seriously considering electric vest and chaps.
