When I take off the side fairing and put it back on, I often forget to plug the turn signal back in. I thought this LAMP warning was just that. I was 100 miles away from home riding some dirt. All the sudden the yellow general warning lights up with the LAMP indication. I stopped and checked all the bulbs and this time it was my low beam headlight.
I went to the near-by O’Rilley auto parts store and bought a Sylvania Silver Star H7 bulb to give a try. After installation, I compared with the OEM high beam and this low beam bulb seems brighter.
Let's see how long this bulb will last.
